Hello, and welcome to I Promise Thee OBX!
My name is Jimmy Anderson, and I'm a Wedding Officiant serving the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I am a fully ordained minister certified by the Universal Life Church and perform traditional, nontraditional, and nondenominational weddings. I am a lifetime native of Northeast North Carolina and since 2006 have been proud to call the Outer Banks my home. I love the beach and I love what I do - uniting loving couples in holy matrimony at the edge of one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! As a practicing minister on the Outer Banks, I have a genuine familiarity with a multitude of venues and can help you decide on the perfect atmosphere for your ceremony while honoring the deepest expressions and bonds of love. Prior to my ministry as a Wedding Officiant, I was a full-time College Professor with College of the Albemarle. I spent 33 years speaking in front of classrooms and other audiences, so I have a sound mastery of communicating to groups of all sizes and backgrounds.
